Kick them ponies in gear and head out to the Deseret Peak Complex to CELEBRATE 72 years of 4th of July Rodeo!! Plans are in full western swing, preparing for a huge celebration. 2017 is the 72nd consecutive year volunteer members of the Bit n’ Spur Riding Club has produced this 2-day Rodeo event; a tradition for thousands of Rodeo Fans celebrating our nation’s freedoms and independence.

Sign up the Young un's for the Mutton Bustin' Buckle Championship. There will be 3 qualifying rounds with the Championship round held during the July 4th performance. The top 6 qualified riders will compete for 3 Championship Buckles plus lots of cash! For per-registration information, rules and restrictions click here.
During the middle of the Rodeo you'll be treated to exciting performance by one of the acts from the upcoming Country Fan Fest. Concert tickets will be given away to the lucky winners.
A Huge Fireworks display is planned following the July 4th performance. Guaranteed to rattle the skies and dazzle your eyes. Mark your calendars now and make your plans to have a fun and memorable Independence Day Holiday at Tooele’s biggest and oldest Rodeo!! WE ARE THE WEST – LIVE IT!
Rodeo Slack will begin July 3rd, starting at 9:00 am.
July 3rd will be the 1st & 2nd round of the Mutton Bustin' Buckle Championship that will begin at 7:00 PM. July 4th will be the 3rd round & the Buckle Championship Performance. Preregistration is required. Rodeo performance starts at 8:00 pm. Click Here for more information.
